Financial Aid Opportunities
Masa offers grants for Jewish young adults (18-30) in the joint Masa-International MBA program. Masa Israel Journey offers all qualified participants universal grants from $1,000 to $4,500, depending on length of stay and age. Additional needs-based scholarships of up to $3,000 are available. Check out www.masaisrael.org for further information regarding MASA grants and scholarships. These grants are contingent to budget approval of the Israeli government and are subject to change.
Financial Aid for Immigrants to Israel
Immigrants to Israel, who are under the age of 30, are currently eligible to receive stipends from the Immigration Office for approximately $6000.
U.S. citizens are encouraged to explore outside funding sources. To apply for low-interest loans through the Federal Direct Loan Program, U.S. citizens must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Bar-Ilan federal school code for the FAFSA is 009143.
